Chapter summary: Nikola hatches a plan to bring Ashley back

The basic "stranded on an island" idea wasn't originally mine, but the person who came up with it doesn't want to write it so I asked if I could run with it

Helen is in search of a rare aquatic abnormal with magnetic properties and brings Nikola along with her to help out. Unfortunately, they run into an unexpected storm and end up getting shipwrecked on a tropical island with no way of calling for help. They find themselves stranded until Nikola's obsessive genius brain can come up with something to either get them off the island or contact someone, but there happens to be a huge setback in the form of a dangerous predatory abnormal living on the island (no, it is not related to a polar bear). Which may possibly eat them.

Ok, I have this really crazy fanfic idea about National Hockey League players being abnormals, but can't figure out which ones should be which kind.

Ok, so, the ball is rolling and I think I can do a re-write "End of Nights" type thing with Nigel Griffin having faked his death and fled to Finland because he wanted a normal life away from the Cabal (I want to use the Koivu brothers, Saku & Mikko. Yes, their father will be Nigel, but I haven't decided if both of them will have inherited the invisibility or not. I'm leaning towards yes.) However this will after Cabal re-amerge, so Ashley will be gone. Haven't worked out all the details yet, though, and have got other stuff to work on besides, first.

So, many ideas, not enough time to write them all down

Also, I just watched Alice In Wonderland, and for some reason my brain wants me to write crossover fanfic. I have NO idea how that's supposed to work out

Pooka Yes, don't we all LOVE random plotbunnies Plus, I feeling like writing a rather emotional fic involving hockey players. What makes this even more emotional, is Saku had a battle with stomach cancer in real life. he won, obviously, but still. And yes, they will be character deaths (not either of the brothers though).

Oh, the character death. I think once I become a published writer I'm going to become quite notorious for that. I have plenty of plotpigeons that involve main characters dying O.o lol
